“Little Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2011

Spent two nights here. Deb, the innkeeper, is a lovely lady. Very friendly and helpful. Also a good cook - the breakfasts were delicious. Lots of variety from locally made yogurt, to home baked muffins, fresh fruit, egg dishes, etc. (and take-out boxes available if you have to get an early start). Also, as a tea drinker, there was boiling hot water and a good variety of tea to choose from.

The inn is old and funky, but fabulously clean. Rooms and baths are updated and contain all the amenities you need - lots of towels, robes, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, etc.

Wonderful front porch - in the warm weather a perfect spot for enjoying your first cup of coffee/tea in the morning or a beverage of your choice in the afternoon.

We stayed in room 10 - it was quiet, bed was super comfortable, and we had a fabulous view of the mountains out or window or from our little deck.

Room Tip: Spend the little extra for a larger room - it will be worth it!

“We especially enjoyed the innkeeper and amenities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2011

The hot tub was perfect after getting caught in the rain on our motorcycles. The innkeeper is very relaxed but efficient and the rooms maintain their colonial era charm. She recommended a wonderful restaurant (pre-season before the inn opened for dinner). Breakfast was perfect with a delicate tomato, goat cheese and chive omelet, local strawberries and the familiar accompaniments of roasted potatoes and toast. We look forward to returning.

“The owner and staff are awesome and meals are excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 March 2011

We stayed at the B&B for 3 nights and the owner and her staff were extremely nice and helpful. They cook dinners on Fridays and Saturdays and the food they serve is excellent.
This is not a place for people who are high maintenance.

“Great place to stay near Jay Peak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2011

Three day stay with family in three bedroom suite #12. Room was clean and comfortable with wood stove t keep us cozy.. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. ( Great dinner as well. ) Hostess Debbie was friendly and hospitable. Discounted lift tickets waiting at desk, reasonable rates, 15 minute drive to Jay Peak. Only issue was some noisy pipes in the room and a door that blew open during the night. Overall a great place to stay in the Jay Peak area. We look forward to a return visit.

“Classic Vermont Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2011

Excellent, friendly and attentive yet not intrusive service from the minute we arrived until the time we left from the owners and staff. Our room, suite #12, was exactly what we needed for a ski trip complete with wood stove, (3) boot heaters and spacious living area to relax apres ski. Breakfast every AM was tasty and a great way to start the day. Dinners were gourmet, delicious and well prepared!!!!! Tasty draft beers on tap at the cozy bar. The location is about 10-15 Mins. from Jay Peak, more than close enough to be convenient to the mountain. I would easily stay here again and would recommend it highly. You can't go wrong.
