I have been going to Manchester every year for the past 10 or so years and about the same time each year. The other seven years, I stayed at seven different inns one being the most luxurious and famous Inn at Manchester one year.
This is the third time I visited the Manchester Highland Inn in as many years and there has been a steady improvement each year and this is the reason I return.
Insofar as value is concerned, compared to the other Inns I stayed at is has the best value by far.
The rooms were not musty at all, the pillows and duvees were lucious and the breakfasts still superb; by far the best I have had compared to the other 7 inns.
The pool has been cleaned up, tile work completed and the roof has been redone.
I gave this Inn a 3 the first year, a four the second and a 5 this year.
The Inn keepers did some special request dinners and lunches for us that were, according to our guests (and some of whom live in the area) some of the best food they ate and represented a significantly better value than the Chantducleer.
The only negative; I was reticent to leave this review for fear of the Inn beoming too popular but one must give credit where it is due.
