We stayed at this hotel during a stop on our fall foilage tour of New England. I was a little apprehensive because of the bad reviews the hotel had gotten. However, our stay was very decent.
This is not an upscale place, which was fine with me. After being on the road for about 10 hours that day after driving through the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire, we were tired and just looking to rest.
The office staff was courteous. Our room was a single with one full bed, although I believe my reservation was for a queen. That was the only problem I had, but I was too tired to complain and it didn't really matter anyway.
The decor was older, but everything was clean. The room was large with a refrigerator and a table with two chairs. The bathroom was clean and came with Pantene shampoo and Jergens body lotion :) Sometimes those little touches mean a lot!
We did not hear any noise from any of the other rooms. I admit I am a deep sleeper though and was particularly tired on this night. My son said the bed was a little uncomfortable, I thought it was fine, but again, I was really tired.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying just for a night and need a place to crash. It was decent, clean, and we had a nice stay.
