my son and i spent one night here in october. the room was adequate, the beds very comfortable, the walls very thin, the heat very low, the hot water not so hot. we thought the staff was okay; then, at 1130 am, there was a knock on our door. we were told to vacate the room asap or we would incur an additional night's charge. (this when we were one of perhaps six occupied rooms in total that weekend.) the staff not so happy.
we thought the overall value, given the area, was okay; then, upon checking out, we learned there was a complimentary breakfast that we had not been told about the night before. (this is what caused me to head out in the morning for coffee, which delayed our checking out "on time.") the value not so okay.
three days after arriving home and doing laundry, i realized i had left my bathrobe in the motel room. when i called to ask the front desk to set it aside until i could make a return trip, the woman who answered told me, "oh, yes. we found your robe. we threw it out." seriously? i asked for an explanation and was told, "well, we can't keep everything we find. we have no room." the hospitality nonexistent.
the location terrifically convenient to other happier spots. stay at one of them.
