We have spent several nights at the Maplewood Inn in Fair Haven, VT over the last few years and have found it to be extremely comfortable, with gracious hospitality. The relatively new owners have vastly improved the Inn's exterior and interior appearance as well as the amenities it offers such as phones, TV and DVD player in each room, internet access from an inn computer, and the availability of coffee and cold drinks with snacks throughout the day. They have expanded the breakfast menu so as to provide lots of wonderful choices for a full delicious breakfast, all cooked to order. The Inn is immaculately clean. The Innkeepers are very friendly, hospitable and attentive to their guests. Their attention to detail is superb. As a frequent US traveler and B&B guest, I would have to rank this Inn as one of the best. This Inn is of the high standard by which other inns should be judged. Don't pass this one up.

I am a Marriott Platinum Card holder and I am used to amenities and service. The Maplewood Inn has surpassed all my expectations. Spacious rooms, a 1600 DVD library for your viewing, matched China and pre-ordered Breakfast menu, coffee and cordials, current magazines and attentive hosts. This is a "Five Star" B&B, don't miss this experience.

We stayed at the Maplewood Inn last summer (2002) for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The inn is immaculate and the breakfast is divine. Lisa and Don are warm and friendly, and accomodating without being intrusive. The Maplewood Suite offered us lots of privacy. Although the inn is on a main highway it is very quiet. The back yard was lovely and most of the views were attractive. The only drawback for us was a north view on the porch of a lumber company down the road which I found disconcerting, considering the rest of the views. But I am very picky so don't go by me. The overall experience was wonderful and we left feeling we had made two new friends.
