My husband and I just left Squire House, after a winter weekend stay. Having traveled extensively, staying at B and B's, we can say with certainty Squire House is the finest, in all aspects. Gay and Roger, the innkeepers, are salt of the earth, intelligent, and service oriented, offering top notch recommendations, history of the area, and warm welcomes. Our comfort was their priority.
Their inn is a hidden gem in the hamlet of Dorset. We had several beautifully appointed, cozy sitting rooms to choose from to sit back, relax, read, and chat, in the comfort of glowing fireplaces, meticulously attended to. The breakfasts were simply gourmet, and spectacular. The attention to detail on all fronts left us feeling pampered, yet not intruding upon our privacy. The inn is large enough to afford private luxury in a magnificent setting.
For nature lovers, it is ideal. Unusual birds, unmarked walking trails, and miles of open space abound.
Our ride home was spent plotting and planning when we could return to Squire House!
Squire House is a must if you are planning on a stay in the Manchester area.

We had a lovely stay at Gay & Roger Squire's (yes, it's their last name!) bed and breakfast. It was like saying goodbye to dear friends when we reluctantly left. It is evident that they have carefully and considerately thought of what it takes to make a guest comfortable in their home. The linens, toiletries, turn-down, delicious gourmet breakfasts, tips on what to do in the area, all combine to make this the place to stay in Dorset. They were hospitable without being intrusive-the perfect combination.

Best stay we've ever had at a B&B. I've never bothered to leave a review before, but this B&B deserves special recognition. Food was great, rooms very nice, grounds were beautiful, and the location was perfect. Roger Squire even took us on a guided tour of the area. The Squires are the perfect hosts!

We stayed at the Squire House over Labor Day weekend. We absolutely loved it! Gay and Roger were so welcoming. The Squire House is immaculate and warm. Breakfast was scrumptious!! Their location is so beautiful. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting outside one morning reading our books and enjoying the beautiful yard(trees, flowers, birds chirping). A little slice of paradise! The rooms are spacious and so clean. The home is in perfect condition. This is the absolutely best place to stay in the area!!
