“We must have driven them crazy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

Our afternoon flight from Newark was cancelled (not a cloud in the sky, mind you) and we didn't get into BTV until 11:30 PM only to discover that the eight hour delay apparently wasn't enough time for Continental to figure out a way to get our bags on board with us. We eventual got to Dorset at 2:45 AM to be warmly greeted by Gay and Roger who not only got up in the middle of the night but put us to bed in their pajamas. Great breakfast the next morning and a wonderful suggestion for dinner that evening. Continental finally got our bags to the inn at 11:45 PM.......my wife and I were asleep so poor Gay and Roger were once again woken up in the middle of the night, this time to schlep our bags upstairs to our room. I'm glad I'm not an innkeeper! Squire House Inn is a wonderful place to stay.......a beautiful house, lovely grounds, and wonderfully patient innkeepers.

“The perfect place in a beautiful Vermont city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2011

This was our second time staying in the Squire house. We loved the house, the property gardens, the delicious breakfast and the beautiful and comfortable suites. Gay an Roger, the property's owners made, as usual, our stay wonderful.

“A perfect haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2011

There are few travel destinations in the world where everything is perfect: the atmosphere, the hosts, the setting, the decor, the landscaping, the food, the service, the welcoming perspective...everything, really. This is The Squire House. Everywhere you turn, the details of your experience (the beautiful linens, the darling night light in the bathroom, the mini sculpture in one of the many gardens on the property) combined with the hosts graciousness create an unparalleled experience. We will return to the Squire House again, and again, and again! It is perfect.

“The Perfect B&B experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 May 2011

Loved my stay at the Squire House. The accommodations were absolutely top notch. Super comfy bed. Fireplace in the Bedroom. Delicious home made granola for breakfast. Roger and Gay, the Inn Keepers were a delight.
I've stayed in a lot of B&B's on the west coast and this Vermont was he top.

“Unmatched Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2011

I have stayed at Squire House at least once a week since January 2011. Gay and Roger are terrific hosts, and they care deeply about their guests and meeting their needs. The rooms are impeccable, the facility is beautifully decorated and furnished, and the food is delicious. If you are in the Manchester/Dorset area, this is the place to stay.
