“Home Away From Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

Quail Hollow Inn is a wonderful B&B to stay at. The hosts Bob & Peter are the best! I have been coming to the Inn twice a year for a girls scrap booking weekend for the past 5 years. The accommodations are comfortable & the food is always home cooked and so delicious. Peter has been kind enough to give us recipes for some of the dishes and a few of them are now regulars in my household. The Inn is in a great location and easy to find. I always look forward to our get away at the Inn. Fun is always had by all, great food, lots of laughs & late nights winding down in the hot tub. If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable home away from home where you feel like part of the family, the Quail Hollow Inn is the place for you. Can't wait to see Bob & Peter again in the spring........the countdown starts!! Thanks for a great time as always guys! Beth

I have been a guest at the Inn multiple times over the past four years. My girlfriend(s) and I enjoy the hospitality, friendliness, food and accomodations that Bob and Peter provide. We feel right at home here. I did read a few of the reviews and will admit the that shower is small, but everything else makes up for it. We love it here and would highly recommend it.

Once again we were welcomed home to the Inn by Bob and Peter. They are the best hosts. The food and accommodations are great. I look forward to every visit and even have a count down app so I can see how many days until I can go back! See you in April!

Overall a really pleasant stay; Bob and Peter made us feel very welcome in their spacious inn. It was great to find a B&B happy to accomodate small children and we were reassured from the moment we arrived that we didn't need to worry about making too much noise.
Peter was good conversation and happy to give advice on places to eat/visit, while Bob cooked us two delicious hot breakfasts, including chocolate chip muffins for the children.

It's clear that a great deal of care has gone into furnishing the place in a traditional style fitting of an older property. You may find the odd cobweb/creaky floorboard here and there, but that just adds to the authenticity - don't come here expecting flat-screen TVs and power showers!

There were a few little niggles, like no bread/toast at breakfast, a slightly precarious ladder up to the top bunk; plus the Wifi was difficult to pick up if you were on the 'wrong' side of our suite, so not quite a 5-star experience but not far off.

“disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We stayed here in July 2011. Not at all impressed. Now I like stuff, infact I love stuff but heavens this b and b was packed with stuff. The bed creaked madly and may not have been attached to the headboard but I don't know. The bathroom was awful. Shower very very tiny and the bathroom was old old old. The breakfast was ok but surprised to see canned fruit in July. Will not stay here again. After the excellent reviews I was quite surprised.
