Overall a really pleasant stay; Bob and Peter made us feel very welcome in their spacious inn. It was great to find a B&B happy to accomodate small children and we were reassured from the moment we arrived that we didn't need to worry about making too much noise.
Peter was good conversation and happy to give advice on places to eat/visit, while Bob cooked us two delicious hot breakfasts, including chocolate chip muffins for the children.
It's clear that a great deal of care has gone into furnishing the place in a traditional style fitting of an older property. You may find the odd cobweb/creaky floorboard here and there, but that just adds to the authenticity - don't come here expecting flat-screen TVs and power showers!
There were a few little niggles, like no bread/toast at breakfast, a slightly precarious ladder up to the top bunk; plus the Wifi was difficult to pick up if you were on the 'wrong' side of our suite, so not quite a 5-star experience but not far off.
