Stayed at The Pointe 2 nights on 3 day ski trip at Okemo. Hotel was well maintained. Beds were clean and comfortable and room was very clean. Access to mountain was very convenient , about 7 minute ride. Room was reserved through Expedia for a very good rate for mid-week stay. ( Much more expensive on weekend, I assume.) Wi- Fi cost $5 for 24 hours and $10 for 72 hours but it's free in most restaurants and at ski lodge so not a big problem. Front desk service was pleasent and helpful. If you want coddled luxery this may not be for you, but if you want a nice clean, comfortable place to stay while skiing this is the place.

Third te staying at The Point Easy choice in a town full of old lodges and expensive condos. Very reasonable rates, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Hard to stay on the mountain, as the basic units are very expensive, so this is a good choice. Excellent meal at The Castle up the hill. Not cheap, but very worth it.

We will be going back to The Pointe for our fourth year next month. Why would we return to an okay but not great place? It's a peak time to ski and other options on the mountain are much more expensive and the hotel is well-enough maintained, well located, and comfortable. Honestly I wanted to stay at Jackson Gore but the price was just too high and because we are with our 15-year-old son, we'd rather have our own space and a bit of privacy. Yes, it's more like a mass-market hotel and not a spa, but the pool is nice for a dip and it works for us. If I could, I'd give it an extra half star for the nice suite we stayed in last year.

This was a below average hotel, small bathroom, noisy heater, no door on the closet. The rooms are average size. It is a pain that you have to get pass card with a code to access the Internet. If you have multiple devices, iPod, laptop, smart phone etc, you will need a card and a code for each, and we had to get new ones every day since they gave us one day passes for a three night stay. This hotel is way overpriced for what you get.
