We chose the Marriott after consulting trip advisor and seeing that it had a good rating and reviews. It was a birthday celebration weekend and we splurged at $225 a night for a 1 bedroom suite with sofabed. There was an antiquated heating system in the room that rumbled on and off the entire night (similar to those old air conditioning units that charge on and off). The next morning I asked the hotel desk person if all the rooms had the same heating system because we couldn't sleep with all the racket. She said she would send up a "technician" to investigate the problem. We returned late that evening to the same problem. For the price paid for the room, I feel cheated. And what's up with the "barrista" coffee in the room? Vermont is getting a reputation for super coffee, why not put some in the room instead of the flavorless sludge? Again, don't go for the 1 bedroom suite if you want to sleep
