We arrived at the Hilton after having negotiated a better rate directly with the hotel. The people at the reception desk could not have been nicer. After they told us that we could have taken our dog had we wanted to- as 80% of all Hilton's allowed animals, we signed up for the Hilton Honors program. They gave us a nice room with a king bed but it had no view so we asked for another room and they put us in a king room with a water view. The room was very nice, had a very comfortable bed and a modern big screen LG TV. In addition, they gave us free WIFI which they usually charge for- as a perk for having signed up for the Honors program. In addition, the manager sent us a bottle of PInot Noir with two wine glasses and a cork screw. Again to thank us for signing up for Hilton Honors. We were even more impressed. We will be pleased to visit Hilton's in the future and were overjoyed to receive such great customer service which is rare in a time when everyone nickles and dimes you for everything and you are lucky if you get any service at all.
