I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for the 2nd time in 2 years. They've upgraded the facilities - the pool was nice and a lot bigger than most hotel pools, breakfast was very good, the staff was extremely friendly, checkin was a efficient, rooms were clean, and the room size bigger than other hotels. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I had a reservation to check in at Dec. 31, 2011 at the Holiday Inn Express at Brattleboro, VT. I was driving up from New York City at 3 am in the morning so that I can ski at Stratton VT Ski resort around 8 am so the drive took me 4-5 hours in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately as I was 2 miles away from the ski resort, it was raining and snowing and sleeting and the driving conditions were so dangerous that I skidded off the road and almost hit a tree. I was so scared to drive back because I could have died that night. I realized that I had to go back to the hotel and try to see if I can stay in the room even though check in time wasn't until 3pm. I was so tired, scared and traumatized to drive back but I had to get some sleep.

As soon as I got to the hotel, the entire hotel parking lot was full because it was a holiday weekend. I walked into the hotel and spoke with Sharon Simmiolkjier who was the working at the desk lobby. I told her my situation and how I know it was early to check in but can I possibly check in earlier. Without hesitation, she looked up the computer to check that my room type was available. She said that 1 room is available and that I can check in now without charge. OMG I was so happy, you do not understand, I drove up from NYC at 3 am in the morning in the middle of the night and it was slippery everywhere by the time I got into Vermont. I was scared, traumatized because I almost crashed into a tree, Sharon literally saved my life that day by letting me check in early and get some much needed rest without an extra charge. That was some great service, she was really nice and I could not have asked for better service. Thank you Sharon and Holiday Inn.

i enjoyed staying at other Holiday inn's. so when we went to vermont thanksgiving weekend we stayed there. the staff was very freindly and helpful. the pool and the rooms were cleaned. the breakfast was good. i would be back and reccomand to others.

I have stayed here in the past and agree with prior reviews that this is your standard Holiday Inn Express. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable.
I only have one complaint: I called the hotel directly a few weeks prior to our arrival and inquired about a handicapped room however was told that this room type did not contain 2 beds. As I was traveling with my elderly mother I preferred 2 beds rather than one.
The breakfast was your standard fare however the coffee was very weak...
I would stay here again..
