“Poor customer service by the man who says hes a manager”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 April 2010

I had no problem with the hotel. Sleep Inn is a beautiful & comfortable hotel that was very convenient for my family and it was near everything. The man who claims hes a manager however needs to be fired for very poor customer service skills and a very rude and ugly attitude! He gives sleep inn a bad name. Dont be fooled by the cheap rates. For just a few dollars more, you can check into Baymont next door for way better services and a much more professional staff.

“Poor service dirty rooms”

I stayed here on my way back from Iraq on Leave after an 18 hour Flight and 3 days of travel from airport to airport just getting out of Iraq all I wanted was a clean room and a hot shower to recover and spend a little time with my wife and kids before going on home (3 hour drive) When I checked in I requested 2 portable cribs for my small children and informed the desk clerk that we were going to go to dinner before going to the room and asked for them to set up the cribs in the room. I was informed that there would be no problem and we left upon returning to the hotel we went to the room to find it to be a discusting dirty smoking room that had not been cleaned there were still ashes and butts in the ash tray and there were no cribs in the room either. So I went to the front desk and by the time I went there had been a shift change and the new desk clerk said that they were not informed of the request and that they were sorry but they had no cribs available. I told them then I need my money back and I will go to another hotel and I was informed very rudely that there was a convention in town and there were no rooms available at any other hotels (I see why there were rooms available here) So I precedded to speak with the desk clerk and after twenty minutes amazingly they found one crib to give me I said thank you but I have 2 kids and 1 crib they said sorry but that is all they can do so I said fine and went back to the room and told my wife the situation and she said okay and then went to the desk and I don't know what happened but after about 20 minutes the desk clerk came with another crib.

“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2008

My wife and I stayed at the Sleep Inn on September 6 & 7, 2008.
This is a very nice hotel for the price.

Sleep Inn's rooms are accessed from an inside hallway. The room was clean. It had a large tv with 60+ channels. It had a large desk. There is a little too much furniture for the size room.

The breakfast was great. They had waffels, eggs, biscuits and gravey, hot and cold ceral, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices, bagels, and pastry.

  • Liked — Breakfast was great
  • Disliked — A little far from downtown

“Ok Hotel for the Price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2008

I visit Salt Lake City once every three months and usually stay in Chioce Hotels.
The Sleep Inn is a middle of the road hotel. It does not have a Gym but is clean and the breakfast is decent. They share the pool with the neighboring Country Inn & Suites. It is away from downtown but walking distance to many restaurants, the E-center and movie theater. Only about 15mins from the airport. There is a shuttle as well.

“Mostly good!”

The location was a little out of the way for where I wanted to be, but the staff was friendly enough to make up for it! We were greeted upon check in like we were old friends, and were helped with directions, suggestions, etc. There was an older man at the desk, he seemed very well informed about what to do nearby!
A down side was that we were not really as close to the main attractions and downtown as we wanted, but this was our fault for not researching better. The area was easy to get to, but not much around of interest.
The rooms were nice, well done, and generally clean. We had to call down for soap, it was not in the room when we got there, but they did appologize and brought it right up!
