“Rude Staff”

The woman at the front desk of this hotel is extremely rude and yelled at me for asking for a check in prior to three pm, This was AFTER she had guaranteed me that there was a room ready and I had already paid. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone based on the abuse by this woman to me. This woman has no business being employed for hospitality, and has no business yelling at the clientelle. I feel like this hotel should reimburse me as I didnt even stay here after being treated so badly by the Mexican woman working at the hotel front desk. Read through other reviews, other clients have had similar experiences, Do NOT waste your time here, any hotel staff that yells at customers should NOT have any business.

I apologize for the problems which you encountered and that. after several conversations with you we were unable to resolve the issues which which you brought up. We strive very hard to be professional and to take care of our Guest's needs. Obviously, in your case we failed to meet these standards.

I have now stayed here 5 times in two years and it continues to be my favorite Salt Lake City area property. Rooms are well kept and clean, extra pillows on beds and a friendly staff. Pool area with hot tub is great at the end of the day. Breakfast includes waffles, cereal, yogurt and bagels; if you need a heartier breakfast both IHOP and Cracker Barrel are within walking distance. The hotel is just off the 215 loop road; close to the West Valley mall, the airport, restaurants and the Maverick Center. A good choice for business or pleasure.

“Great price, very nice hotel, what more can you wish?”

We stayed in Baymont two nights, second night(different night) because we were very satisfied with the first visit.We felt like a one class higher guests then in other common motels we have been to.Extremely clean and nice room, good breakfast and great pool and hot tub.These all for 66$ including tax, that was awsome.This was also a reason why we stayed again.

“Good location, nice hotel, great value”

The neighborhood is full of restaurants within walking distance so that's a great plus when you've spent too many miles on the road. Getting to SLC itself is very easy so I would recommend this for business travelers as well. Best thing: the price. Probably the best value I've encountered in a long while. Definitely recommended. I'll stay here again when I'm traveling through this area.

“Good location and valley”

My wife and 8 year old son picked this hotel based on the other reviews. After having stayed here, I agree with the positive reviews 100%. The place is a tiny bit rough around the edges, but the room was very clean, nothing broken, and the service was fine.
I was a little worried about the location because we'd prefer to have stayed downtown. But I guess the lower cost of this place is precisely because it wasn't downtown. This wasn't a factor though. It was extremely convenient to downtown and the airport. Not to mention, it turns out there are some fantastic eateries near this location (try In 'n Out Burger, Red Ginger Bistro, and Gossip Tapioca Pudding).
The one minus point here is there are no rooms with 2 queen size beds. We settled for a room with 2 doubles.
