We stayed in Baymont two nights, second night(different night) because we were very satisfied with the first visit.We felt like a one class higher guests then in other common motels we have been to.Extremely clean and nice room, good breakfast and great pool and hot tub.These all for 66$ including tax, that was awsome.This was also a reason why we stayed again.

The neighborhood is full of restaurants within walking distance so that's a great plus when you've spent too many miles on the road. Getting to SLC itself is very easy so I would recommend this for business travelers as well. Best thing: the price. Probably the best value I've encountered in a long while. Definitely recommended. I'll stay here again when I'm traveling through this area.

My wife and 8 year old son picked this hotel based on the other reviews. After having stayed here, I agree with the positive reviews 100%. The place is a tiny bit rough around the edges, but the room was very clean, nothing broken, and the service was fine.
I was a little worried about the location because we'd prefer to have stayed downtown. But I guess the lower cost of this place is precisely because it wasn't downtown. This wasn't a factor though. It was extremely convenient to downtown and the airport. Not to mention, it turns out there are some fantastic eateries near this location (try In 'n Out Burger, Red Ginger Bistro, and Gossip Tapioca Pudding).
The one minus point here is there are no rooms with 2 queen size beds. We settled for a room with 2 doubles.

This Baymont in West Valley Utah is a model establishment!! I was amazed at the fantastic condition of the property, the extremely nice and helpful workers, the high quality of the rooms, everything!! Considering we have been away from home for two weeks now and have stayed at a LOT of hotels, Baymont most definitely stood out, and especially at that amazing price! It made me feel like a valuable person staying in an expensive hotel! Kudos to the entire staff and management for a job well done!!! (And since I had one miserable experience this trip at a Days Inn in Colorado Springs, the excellence of Baymont was quite obvious and impressive!) Clean, comfortable, great location, safe...maybe the only downside is it was very busy in the breakfast area.
