I must say that I was totally impressed with the Country Inn and Suites in West Valley, Utah. I had read the reviews prior to going there and was anticipating a dirty hotel; I had no choice of where I was staying since it was booked for me - it was a business trip. When I walked into the lobby and my room I jumped for joy. Wow, it was spotless and the furniture and bed were really nice - I slept like a baby. I stayed in room # 308 - it has two flat screen televisions (one in the bedroom and one in the living room), the bathroom was really clean, and I felt at home. The only pet peeve was the girl that worked at the front desk at night was not that friendly and when we asked for advice on a good local place to eat other than a chain restaurant, she said - "I don't know, Chili and Applebees is across the street". Luckily the guy that worked the front desk during the day was super nice and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I like to stay somewhere that has descent accommodations at best. I am not a Ritz type person. I like this area due to the eateries that are close by and have stayed at all of the local hotels by the E Center. This one is below par in my opinion. The staff is very friendly but the rooms are tired. I had a king suite on the second floor. No desk to speak of, the wireless works great and is fast enough to do my work. The carpet in the room is not nice at all, feels old and dirty. The bathroom appeared to be ok until my first shower (this only happened on the first morning) I took. The water came out very hot, I made my adjustments started to do my business then during shampooing ice water came out, then scalding hot, then cold again. Needless to say I rinsed my hair quickly and called it good. The TV’s in the room are ok but only HBO for movies. I like to rent movies on long stays so I found this to be irritating. The hot breakfast appeared to be ok but I didn’t have anything but coffee, that was ok. They have transportation to the airport; it was late picking me up but still made it in plenty of time. To summarize, ok hotel on a budget, will stay elsewhere next visit in two weeks.

We stayed here for my daughter birthday party and it was excellent. The family suite was huge! 2 queen beds in the main room plus a sofa and a separate room with a king bed. The main room also had a bar with sink, fridge and microwave. There was a large dining room table (room for 7!) in the main room and another table in the king room (room for 4). The bathroom was large with a jacuzzi tub.

The staff was very accomodating and the kids loved the pool area. The breakfast was good too. I'm not sure about the negative reviews -our room was very clean. This is the best deal I've found (without using priceline) - it was only $115!

COMMENTS
This hotel is sliding downward in terms of quality. Current guests are looking for the best deal, ie. trademen, truckers, sports groups, etc. The property is run to maximize it as an investment. Cheap construction is a downer.
