Moving to America, my first extended stay was River Oaks and I couldn't be happier. Location was perfect, right in the middle of the Salt Lake valley. Staff are great and became like family to me. The room was spacious and very relaxing with good upkeep from the cleaning staff. The gym/sauna also had good quality equipment for an enjoyable workout at the end of the day. It was a pity I had to later move to another state or I would still be there.

I stayed at River Oaks for one year while doing a project in West Jordan. My one bedroom furnished suite offered a fantastic view of the Eastern Rockies from the balcony. The updated furnishings are attractive and very comfortable. I loved the gas fireplace during the colder months. The pool is great during the warmer months.

The location is perfect in terms of access to skiing, downtown, local amenities.

I would highly recommend River Oaks for your next long term stay.

I have been staying at River Oaks for almost 5 years now, during the ski season. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. The price is un-beatable for what you get there & the staff is like family now. Location is ideal for almost anything you might need and only 20 minutes from the slopes! I have told so many people about River Oaks when I'm on the mountain that it has been harder to get a reservation, but they always go out of their way to accomodate me :).

The location is PRIME! Three minutes to I-15 freeway, shopping and restaurants are everywhere. Public transporation is all but at your doorstep and TRAX (local train service) is less than ten minutes away. The suites are clean and well kept. Comfortable bedding and full amenities makes this complex a great place to stay. The management staff was very friendly and accomodating.
It's also a great place to stay if you're a skier as it's only 25 to 35 minutes to prime resorts!
