The Motel 6 in Wendover is a no-frills property with very reasonable prices. When I say no frills, I mean the rooms come only with a TV, a remote, beds and linens, and a bar of soap. Don't expect to find a hair-dryer or little shampoos, and the only available outlets to recharge your laptop or cell phone are in the bathroom. The hotel advertises free wi-fi, but it is very slow and although my room was only 20 feet from the front office, I had only limited reception on one side of the room. After checkin, we went to look at the rooms and found that although the bathrooms were clean and the beds seem to have been made, there was garbage on the dresser and the room smelled of burgers. The staff very promptly and willingly gave us another room, but we were lucky it was a slow night. Otherwise, the property seems well maintained and was a good value for the $40/night internet rate. Okay for a one-night stopover while travelling.

The place is under new management I think. I had been a previous guest here, and will never go back. The whole property is in disrepair, and the place was practically desolate for a Saturday night. We brought along our dog seeing as how they advertise that they are "pet friendly." We had left to get a bite to eat, while we were gone (less than 30 min), we received harrassing phone calls that our dog was barking. News flash dogs bark. Well apparently he was a nuisance because according to the front desk they had to move 3 guests, and one left and wanted a refund...funny there were no more cars in the parking lot when we went back to the room to pack up our stuff and leave. We were not issued a refund and when we asked for even a partial refund, the man at the front desk kept screaming "call the police, call the police." What a nightmare, and a waste of time and money. DON'T STAY THERE EVER!!!

Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable; and the price was amazing!!!. Our 2 dogs stayed for free, and they have free WiFi in their rooms. Simple motel room, but that is how Motel 6 keeps there rooms so inexpensive. Will happily stay at this clean, dog friendly motel on our return trip!

Over 15 years, MOTEL 6 is my only only place where my team can trust.
I believe and trust this place. Every summer,for salt flat racing,all other motel hotel get
crazy to make money because no rooms available that area. $150,$200, even more than $300 bucks for one night with minimum 3 day nonrefundable contract, but only one place,Motel 6,ask reasonable price with good service every day without contract....
more than 100 DEGREE DESERT AREA , NO HUMIDITY ,I don,t believe there is BED BUG. 10 year later,my son will be there with his car as racer. HE WILL STAY AT MOTEL 6.
