My husband stayed in Vernal about 10 years ago and was worried what we would fine. What a wonderful surprise at the Landmark Inn. The man at the front desk was very kind and friendly. The room was spacious and great. Beds were spectacular. Big TV. Very new room. Breakfast was not wonderful, but nothing different from any other hotel that offers "free" breakfast. Very pleased and would definatley stay again if ever coming through Vernal.

Vernal 's hotels aren't generally up to standard, so we were pleased to find a B&B there. Landmark Inn was originally a church. It was transformed about ten years ago, breaking it up into some small bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It's clean. The rooms are nicely decorated. It's apparently not run by the owners, but by hired staff, so it didn't have the homey feeling so often found in bed & breakfasts. The breakfast itself was disappointing too: continental with packets of instant oatmeal, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, and a toasted bagel (if requested). Staff was friendly. Would highly recommend over other available accomodations in Vernal.

Improvements would include LOCK the front and back door, don't depend on just locks on the individual doors. Offer fans, with no air conditioning, it gets hot.
INTRODUCE yourself, even though we stayed 2 nights
no one told us their names. A wreath on the wall had an inch of dust, but the important things like the bathroom and linens were VERY clean and new looking. Don't call yourself a bed and
breakfast if your breakfast is cereal, fruit, bagels, coffee,
there wasn't even any pastry or donuts, like any hotel
would even offer. As these sound like bad things, the rooms
and the inn is very nice, and the staff is very friendly, we would
definately stay there again, the price was right too.

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. Managers were very friendly. I reserved a room for my grandamother back in May. She was very happy with her stay.
