To be fair, I am not a huge fan of B & B's in general. They aren't my first pick of places to stay. That said, the breakfast was fine. I don't really like huge breakfasts anyway and there was just enough to satisfy everyone at the tables. But, as mentioned by previous reviewers, you really are confined to your room. And the room we had was not very large. There was no chest of drawers for our clothes. No hair dryer which was a problem for me in the chilly a.m. air. Unlike other B & B's there was no common area to congregate in.

The view of some of Bryce Canyon from the porch outside the rooms was lovely. The room itself was clean but I found it kind of boring in terms of decor. The other guests were great, the neighbors were great, but the hosts?? As mentioned by others here on this site, they were seldom seen. And when we did see them they seemed to express no interest in us. There were absolutely no travel brochures anywhere. At breakfast another woman who was their employee served us and she was very nice. I kind of got the feeling that the owner's just weren't really into doing this B & B thing so much. Whether they ever were, I don't know. And yes, the walls are very thin so if noise bothers you that could be an issue. This is an o.k. place to stay but I wouldn't rave about it to anyone.

If you do stay here, be sure to check out the Kodachrome Park - a state park about 15 to 20 minutes away from Tropic. It was wonderful and much less crowded than Bryce or Zion.

We stayed 2 nights Oct. 1 and 2 2011. The owners were very friendly and nice. The rooms were quaint but well appointed,and the view was great. The breakfast was very good. We had never stayed at a B&B before, so had nothing to compare to, but I would definitely stay there again.

The room was very nice, we stayed in Kevin + Jeannee. very clean and comfortable, close to Bryce Canyon so it is a good location. breakfast was very nice, as much as you could eat. lovely setting, staff were friendly, I would recommend, we are a young married couple

Although website was great, facilities were basic: rooms were noisy because of thin walls, lacked privacy and need to be updated. Arrival was haphazard (no-one there to meet us). No facilities anywhere e.g. to make a cup of tea, no sitting space in room. Breakfasts were good but late (if you needed to get away earlier). Hosts not available for advice/guidance for our visit (as promised on website). The least satisfactory by far of the B&Bs we stayed in in a three week trip.
