You pay too much for what you get here. It's a good motel but the price is just not right. But there's nothing you can do if you wan't to stay in this area, not too far away from Bryce.
However, staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is ok and sufficently clean.
They serve free pancake breakfast at Clarke's Restaurant, which also we can really recommend for dinner! Wifi is free, too.

There are not much choice around Bryce canyon which is affordable. Late check in possible but need to have a reservation as everything is booked out in this area.
Room is rather small and has a foul smell. Bathroom could also be cleaner and I am not a picky person.
There is only a restaurant in the town and a supermarket. If traveling on low budget you can get food for the microwave as there and heat it straight there.

On our way back from Brice NP we stayed there.
Room are clean, bathroom are more then clean.
Nice little general store up the street.
Wifi worked great. 24h laundry.
There some nice littles lounging areas in the buildings.
There not a lot to do in Tropic but it close of Brice NP, so it worth to consider it.

Facilities are so limited in this area that service does not need to be a consideration. The hotel room was not adequately cleaned and the area surrounding the hotel looked like a junk yard.
