Great B&B with view from the front porch. Penny is an excellent cook (can't beat the great breakfasts) and host. It is definitely the best place to stay for a visit to the Capitol Reef area. My wife who is an interior designer was impressed by the decor and the beds. It is a real treat to sit on the front porch and take in the sunsets of the cliffs to the east.

We stayed about eight nights at Eric and Penny's first-rate B&B while hiking in Capitol Reef NP in Sept 2009. The house, setting, rooms, and meals are fabulous, and they are, too. They run the B&B in the spring/summer and work in the skiing world in Colorado in the late fall/winter. They are outdoors people themselves, and they have plenty of helpful first-hand knowledge of the area. The fellow guests were fascinating people to share breakfast with. Affordable. In the small town of Teasdale, tucked at the base of a hill, about ten minutes from the entrance to Capitol Reef NP. When you're on the front porch, you barely know you're in a town at all. Wish all B&B's were as good as the Muley Twist Inn!

I've stayed at the Muley Twist Inn several times and each time it was just perfect. Eric and Penny are wonderful hosts and give you lots of space to just relax. The rooms are well-decorated and very comfortable. The views are also spectacular.

Stayed one quiet, fabulous nite at the Muley Twist Inn. We arrived early (3pm'ish) and noted that the front door was locked. It does say 4pm check-in, but Eric graciously opened the door and said they were ready for us. HINT: if you arrive early, go ahead and drive out -- grab a nice rocking chair on the front porch, open that bottle of wine (you've been coveting during your trip) and enjoy the rocking while Eric and Penny get prepared for your visit. It's a nice relaxing porch with fabulous views!! The room (upper level, top left) was comfortable. In fact, the ENTIRE Inn was IMMACULATELY clean...really clean. The breakfast was SouthWestern eggs/quesadillas and fresh fruit. A nice little inn. Highly recommended!!!
