First of all, it's helpful to have an address for Muley Twist Inn as it's a bit difficult to find without one. In "downtown" Teasdale, find a street labeled 125 South. There will be a sign for Pine Shadow Cabins (although not one for Muley Twist Inn). Just past the cabins, there is a sign. Turn at 200 West, and you're there. The accommodations are decorated in minimalist and attractive style; none of that awful Victoriana or Country Goose look. It's a pleasant place with a lovely large front porch and rocking chairs. Good library of lending books, too. We highly recommend Cafe Diablo in Torrey for dinner.

We stayed for a week with our 6 and 9 year old kids and it was fantastic. Penny has a lovely B&B located in Teasdale which is less than 10mins outside of Torrey. It is situated away from the main thoroughfare on a large plot of land up against a beautiful rocky ridge. It is at the very end of a private drive and so it is both quiet and picturesque. While we enjoy the B&B atmosphere, we are picky about cleanliness. Let there be no doubt, Penny keeps her B&B immaculate all the while maintaining that warm and welcoming B&B atmosphere that makes it so worthwhile. We especially enjoyed talking to her about things to do and see in and around Capitol Reef National park, as well as the best places to eat. She proved to be an invaluable resource. Thank you Penny!

What a treat it was to leave from, come back to, and to stay at the Muley Twist Inn during our 5 day stint in the Capitol Reef area in April. The public rooms as well as the bedrooms/baths are very attractive, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Penny's breakfasts are incredible, with freshly baked muffins every morning accompanying a well balanced, healthy, delectable entree. The perfect way to start the day. The piece de resistence for me were the ironed linens on the bed and the ironed and beautifully color coordinated napkins at the breakfast table!!! The perfect touch. Penny treats her guests like welcomed friends. Who could ask for more?

This is a great inn with terrific views in a peaceful location. The rooms were lovely and comfortable (no TV but who cares). The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The proprietor was wonderful and also very helpful when I became ill and needed to find a doctor out in the wide open spaces of southern utah. If you plan on visiting Capitol Reef National Park this is a convienent location.
