I traveled from Phoenix with extended family and stayed 2 nights in 3 rooms. We booked our rooms based on location (right off the freeway) and price, but became extremely concerned after reading the negative reviews. We booked through Priceline so we were stuck, and expecting the worst. Folks - this is a Days Inn...not the Westin, not the Hyatt. It is a motel, not a hotel. If you're expecting refined elegance, this is not the place for you. I expect a clean, quiet, comfortable room without anything in need of repair. This is exactly what I got, as well as my family members in the other 2 rooms. We had no issues with the cleanliness (or biggest concern after reading the reviews); it seems as though management is paying attention and keeping things clean. Also, we were concerned about the food situation at the breakfast buffet, after reading reviews that they would run out of food very early. This may have been another learning lesson for management, because we didn't have any issues. I did have to ask for more syrup after we ran out, but the front desk girl immediately got it for us and it was no problem. Keep in mind, we had kids and teens with us, too, eating at all different times, with no issues. All in all, it was a good value motel and was just fine for 2 nights.
