“Stay at this mountain!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2011

I don't now how anyone could have a bad time at snowbird! The mountain has incredible terrain, and challenging, but for all ability levels! The Inn was great! The room was way better than what we expected, modern, with a wood burning fire place and a real nice kitchen. The murphy bed was a little stiff, but then again, so were we after a full day skiing and snowboarding! Super cozy, 5 minutes to tram and lifts, great hot tub and heated pool, all other bars and restaurants within 7 minute walk. The staff here, and on the whole mountain, is extremely friendly and happy to be there. Our three days there exceeded our expectations, and we will definetly travel there again. The Inn has a special rate if you book with your Amex card, passes included. Can't beat it! Get out there already!

“Comfortable, Convenient, Quiet, Compelling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2011

Happiness is a HOT hot tub smack in a universe of snow, a comfortable bed - well appointed kitchen - double bathroom - breathtaking views, a two minute walk to fun restaurants in two adjoining lodges. Loved the 35 cent chicken wings at the Wildflower with Gayle as our server. Jack, our Hotel Manager, was knowlegable and helpful. Tip: Free ski storage at the Snowbird Center 3rd level for hotel guests. The Inn at Snowbird is compelling...topped only by the mountain itself.

“Great Room. Awesome Mountain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2011

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Inn. Can't beat the price which included lift tickets. The proximity to the mountain is great. Only a short walk to the Tram. Staff was very helpful with anything that we needed. Huge hot tub with heated pool. Don't worry about the Inn not having a restaurant there are plenty of choices within walking distance.

“The circulation problem in the room needs to be repaired”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2010

When checking in, we were told that the inn had an airflow problem. We were asked not to use the fireplace, which we did not. Someone, however, did use their fireplace and there was quite a burnt smell in our room. The smell woke us up at night and it wasn't pleasant. I hope the problem is repaired soon. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub, though. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would have liked a room facing the ski trails, but our balcony faced the road, so the view wasn't as nice. Also, it would be great if the inn served a continental breakfast.

“When there is no skiing to distract you, you realize how crappy this place is”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 June 2010

The staff was friendly enough. The parking/entry is a pain and I almost got hit twice. The room smelled like creosote, and after 2 days, so did all of my clothes. The place was fairly clean, but there were Nerds (those disgusting little candies) in the carpet. Seriously, how hard is it to miss pebble-sized, fluorescent green candy when you're vacuuming? The Murphy bed is not super comfortable and you have to move all the living room furniture to make enough room to open the stupid bed. The biggest issue is the fire hazard in the bathroom (see pics). People have obviously turned the heat lamp on and left the inner bathroom door open. Seems like a reasonable thing to do, since there is an outer door and leaving the inner one open helps with the steam. Well, it's reasonable until you consider that the top of the door ends up being right under the heat lamp. The lamp is hot. The door is flammable. Not good. I mentioned this to the front desk person and he claimed this was the first they had heard of it. I would think someone in housekeeping or maintenance would have notice that the bathroom door was charred. I noticed it as soon as I walked in.
