We had a good time here. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was really nice. I loved that it was so close to the mall so I could do some shopping while my husband was at his business meeting. Only regret was that we could stay longer.

Guess its good for skiers, but for business meetings less than desirable due to location from airport. Breakfast in the bistro in pretty good, and Two good restaurants in walking distance. In-house catering acceptable as well.

However the maid service is NOT very good, more tidying up than actually cleaning (wrappers, dirty glasses left out). If you're a neat freak dont stay here. The room temp is impossible to keep steady, it was 45F (!) on arrival, but turning the heat up filled the room with bone-dry hot air. Bathtubs are small, but there was plenty of hot water. There is a washer & dryer at $1 per cycle each, with free soap.

Taxis coming to the hotel try to severely gouge you, watch out! Will not stay here again for that reason alone.

i have been to the the courtyard twice. first time we got a 2 bedroom and it was very very big. had its own room just for a living room. It was very clean and tidy. Room services everyday. Front desk were lovely(they loved us Aussies).

I recommend this place if you are a skier because if you get a room on the ground floor and next to the car park then its so easy to go to your car and scoot of to the slopes. we were on the 3 floor the first time and it got annoying. the last thing u want is to walk up the stairs after smashing yourself skiing all day. the second time we were there, we got a room right next to the side entrance door, so literally we went out one door and we were at the car.
Sandy is a perfect spot for skiers, purely cos Sandy is in between the the 2 canyons of ski slows. Big Cotton wood and little cotton wood canyon's entry's are right in Sandy.

You are right next to a few diners, sports bar right across the road. Texas Road House is a 2min drive(Absolutely loved this place, went there like 4 times), just good atmosphere and mean food.

beds are comfy, spacious, good TV, close to everything, reception are helpful. I will keep going back every time I'm in Salt Lake. Free WiFi! have computers and printers u can use. lots of TVs for sport and weather out in the lobby. Small dining area for a quick feed or beers.

We had an eventful first night here. Did not want to accept a room with connecting doors, but were assured that no one would be next door. Unfortunately, someone then put a party of young girls celebrating a birthday in there, with friends across the corridor - the parents wisely asking for a room at the other end of the corridor! My husband went to complain and we were moved to a suite on the higher floor - very nice. Unfortunately at 1.10am the fire alarm was activated by someone leaving popcorn in a microwave for too long, so we were in the car park for a while! However the next night was perfect peace and quiet. Rooms were fine, clean, well equipped, bathrooms ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Family restaurant across the street - only a bistro in the hotel with very limited menu. Big shopping mall nearby. handy for I 15, nice indoor pool.
