The main reason we chose this hotel is because they allow animals and my sister and her family were traveling with their dog. So we made reservations about three weeks in advance for three rooms for all of us. Two of the rooms were ready, but when my wife, four month old baby and I went to get into our room there was another family in there! They had given our room to somebody else, so after a good wait they were able to provide us with another room. When we got in it the room was extremely hot (the temperature had been above 100 that day) and the air was turned off. I would have dismissed it to them just having relocated us to a different room but my other family in the other two rooms had theirs turned off as well. The fridge/freezer was also unplugged which was inconvenient because we were hoping to keep the breast milk cool we were traveling with for our baby but just used the ice bucket with ice in it instead. We tried to sleep and couldn't as the a/c just couldn't cool down the room until about 2:00 in the morning we called the front desk and they were able to bring up a fan that we put next to our bed. When we awoke in the morning to take a shower, we realized that the water wouldn't drain and we ended up showering in ankle deep water. The same thing happened in my sister's room. Overall it was a pretty poor experience and I would like to add another thing that happened not to us but to a man who was in front of us in line. He and his family had stopped to stay at the hotel and mentioned to the clerk that all the other hotels were filled. He asked for the Triple A discount which they clearly had marked outside that they accepted and they refused it. Whether or not it had to do with the fact they were the only hotel in the area with vacancies or not I'm not sure but I thought that was pretty dishonest seeing as how they had it advertised outside.
