Checked into motel and after the woman gave a group ahead of me a rate of 40 dollars she told me my rate was 50 dollars and i was alone tired and not wanting to go to other motels i just sucked it up and took the room. that night i was threatened and harassed by my next door room that was rented to at least a dozen Latinos. After no answered phone calls by the front desk and i left two messages. three trips from the police i had the police escort me to my car where i could get to safely and went to another hotel at 1;30 AM STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL AT ALL

We wish to apologize for your recent experience with the Knight Inn on Bluff Street. Since, I was not on duty at that time, I can not fully attest to this situation. However, it should not have happened and our sincere apology for this negative experience. Amway has conventions in St. George 4 times a year and these were our Amway guests. We have never had this problem previous. As we do appreciate our guest, we would like to offer 50% discount if this guest chooses to stay with us again. We appreciate your business and take your comments seriously. We will use this to assist us in circumventing this type of event in the future.

“Worst hotel I've ever stayed in!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2010

I've stayed in some really ghetto hotels before, but this one takes the cake! The lobby is the nicest part of this hotel. Once we hit our room it reeked of smoke, even though it was supposedly "non-smoking". The room and the carpet was filthy! My two daughters walked around barefooted on the carpet for a few minutes and the bottoms of their feet were black! The fan in the bathroom didn't work, in fact if anything, it was in reverse and blew out more smoke from the "homeless" looking people LIVING next door. The "neighbors" next door had a bunch of young kids who played outside our room all day screaming and fighting while the mom sat in there and smoked. When the front door closed the first night we stayed there, the light fixture in the bathroom fell down on the sink and broke. There were pieces of broken plastic all over the floor. The internet didn't work as advertised and when I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they couldn't have cared less. The price was outrageous for a hotel in FAR better condition. The beds were uncomfortable and you could feel springs in your back. We literally left a night early at 3:00 AM because we couldn't sleep anyway, we were better off driving on the road as tired and grumpy as we were. There was no effort to help us out or refund any money. They don't care if you never come back, so we are absolutely going to oblige them on that.

“Last resort”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2010

As titled this was a last resort and there won't be a next time. Traveling with a one year old who was more than anxious to be out of the car we quickly found out the floor (carpeting) was filthy. After crawling around less than a minute her feet and clothes were filthy! Who knows when the last time it had been vacuumed! It wasn't kind of dirty it was black. The heated pool was not heated. As mentioned in another review the bedding was stained. There were several repairs done in the room that were an embarrassment to whoever did them. Very sloppy which says the owners don't care. The beds were not bad so at least for a stop over and not a destination it worked but would hate to have been locked into anything more. It is a below budget hotel without the budget price.

“Do not stay at this hotel ever!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 April 2010

This hotel advertises high speed internet which is a lie. The internet is unusable. I was unable to do anything during our stay. I complained to the owner, he made all kinds of excuses and laughed as I left the lobby. The room was filthy and smelled. The bathroom was a disaster.

“Very bad experience.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2008

We booked our 4 night vacation because it was the least expensive for a room with 3 queen beds. The facilities need updating but for the price its okay, until considering cleanliness.
The sheets appeared unwashed. All of them had black marks on them, and one even had hair in it.
In the bathroom facilities, we found long strands of hair in the bathtub, a dead cricket, and the lineoleum floors were quite dirty. The continental breakfast was nice.
The cable was horrible, no kids channels, poor reception, and not consistent with the channel lineup issued. (Different cable provider than what is in the lobby)
3 other families in our traveling party had similar experiences. Some even had horrible smells. We did not have confidence that things would change when the maids came through so we decided to check out.
We checked out before 11AM but were charged an extra night at higher rates. There were no itemized receipts just the credit card slip. Do not stay here!!!

  • Liked — NIce main lobby and continental breakfast.
  • Disliked — Cleanliness!
