“I GIVE THIS A GOOD REVIEW: HERE'S WHY ....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2011

Requests are dealt with urgency by staff. The Managers are from INDIA. The hotel is clean, the sheets and bathrooms are clean. There is nothing here to get hysterical about. The negative reviews, IMO. are from super fastidious ingrates. Cockroaches are endemic in St. George and since people live in and cook in these rooms, there are some pests which the MANAGEMENT VALIANTLY ADDRESSES!!

Not all rooms are beautifully appointed so if you check in at the monthly rate, you won't get their best room ... but they will help you fix anything you don't like as soon as you ask them.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD COULD NOT BE BETTER. Ancestor Square, the location of this Inn, has best restaurants, salons, sight-seeing and shopping a short walk away.

If your family is LDS, you couldn't find a better location. I intend to supply photographs as soon as possible. Brigham Young's Winter House as well as the historical district walking tour begin next door.

“DON'T EVER STAY HERE!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2010

I can't even put into words how horrible this place is. The rooms are dirty and smelled SO BAD that you literally could not go inside, there's mold in the showers, the walls are thin, the curtains don't close, there's no privacy, you can hear everything...but the worst part is the terrible manager who yells at people and is extremely rude. He actually shoved his wife into the back room right in front of us. This was the absolute worst experience I've had at a motel! Ever. Please don't stay here.

“HORRIBLE!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2010

This is the worst hotel ever!! Dirty sheets that looked like they had been slept in and the maid just made up the bed! Towels were dingy, breakfast a joke, dirty pool, dirty floors, not soap in soap dispenser, etc etc etc!! Came back from a long day hiking and the room had not been cleaned! We are not picky but we were disgusted at the whole place!! The people who run the hotel couldn't care less!! We heard one customer mention to the the woman who runs the hotel with her husband that the waffle batter wasnt coming out very good and she told him he had enough!! Plus the hotel owner/mangager whatever they are live in the motel and their kids wandered around the lobby every time we were there. Our friends had made the reservations and I asked them if they had read the reviews before making them and they said no! Don't EVER make hotel reservations without first reading the reviews!! They help alot!! I can't stress enough - DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Eeeeeek!!!”

Alrighty, so me and my spouse went here on our way to Las Vegas because it was the cheapest hotel in St. George...there is good reason for this too. We are young and pretty easy going people and honestly are not picky about hotels, but to say the least we were quite shocked at this dump.

This place is ran by an Indian family, and I am not being mean but I seriously could not understand the man that was checking me in. He also collected every document that has ever been assigned to me in my life.... a little much.

My wife said there were a bunch of dead nasty bugs and cocroaches behind the tv...awesome... the rooms are super small and there is no bath tub just a tiny little shower with rusty pipes sticking out of the shower wall and a rusty pipe (that is supposed to be the shower head) but it is not. There literally was no shower head, just a pipe that shot misty water in a dull attempt to get you clean. I was brave enough to take a shower, and was actually dirtier when I was done.

If price is an absolute must, and you are just crashing here one night and can stand everything in the hotel falling apart and rusting then be my guest....I however, will never be back. (barf)

“Filthy Insect Ridden Hovel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2008

As we parked the car, a hotel worker was draining the cloudy swimming pool into the parking lot. After pumping out a quarter of the water, the pool was refilled from a hose. It was less cloudy after this, but not what one would call inviting. The room itself was dingy, with mold growing in the bathroom and no cold water in the sink. Things went from bad to worse. Upon awakening the next morning, I had five insect bites on my arm. As this is Utah, and there isn't much of a mosquito problem, I was either attacked by bedbugs or fleas-neither one a welcome proposition. The breakfast was cold cereal, bread (no butter-they were out for TWO DAYS), and waffles at the reception area. We ended up staying 2 nights because everything else was booked up for the senior games. Spend an extra few dollars to get a decent hotel, this place was horrible-dirty, moldy, run down, and insect ridden.
