“a typical Hampton”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

We stayed here as an overnight stopover on route from Flagstaff to Salt Lake City, and it is well situated for this. It is a fairly typical Hampton Inn, with friendly reception staff and a pleasant breakfast area. The room was fine and spacious, but we had been allocated the "disabled room" (as we had asked for a room with a fridge!) and felt that this was clearly not suitable for anyone with a disability, who would not be able to use the bath or shower without a climb into it, while the shower head needed to be unhooked to be usable. We were disappointed at the lack of anywhere good to eat nearby, ending up with a rather disappointing experience in the local Pizza Hut.

“Typically comfortable Hampton”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011 via mobile

The rooms are a touch smaller than the average Hampton, but other than that, it's great as usual with great service and nice hot tub and pool. As another reviewer mentioned, there's not much nearby (typical of Hamptons).

“Absolutely Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

This place was seriously amazing. We pulled up to this small hotel right off the freeway (as most of the major ones are in Richfield) and had no clue what to expect. As soon as we walked in we got a great feel for the place: our room was quite large with a beautiful big window which let in plenty of outside light as well as a squeaky clean bathroom and a strong, fully functioning, shower head (not one of the usual wimpy hotel showers), and big comfy beds. The room was extremely comfortable and reasonably sized but, most of the all, the beds were fantastic.

As for the facilities, I'm normally not a fan of indoor swimming pools but this one was an exception with its large windows surrounding the facility and a high standard of cleanliness. The whole place had none of that nasty humid chlorine smell that I expect from indoor pools. The hot tub also upheld the same standards.
Though the workout room on the first floor was pretty small and basic, all of the machines were brand new and there was enough room for me to stretch without feeling cramped. There was also free tea and coffee in the lobby which was a great perk throughout the day.

There was a small laundry room on the second floor with one washer, one dryer, and a soap dispenser with different varieties to choose from. As we'd been touring the national parks for a few weeks at that time, we decided that risking the laundry facilities would really help to decrease the dirty clothes pile and provide for the rest of the trip. Surprisingly, it was only a dollar to run each machine and everything, again, was really clean and easy to use.

As for food, there isn't much choice aside from fast food and a big sign for Wingers next door so we went a few freeway exits down to Frontier Village Restaurant which had pretty good food with decent prices and was only a 5 minute drive down the freeway (which is right next to the hotel but which you would never know was there if you couldn't see it).

I've never stayed in a Hampton Inn before but now i'll be on the lookout for one the next time I have to stay overnight in a hotel. I hope each is as wonderful as the Richfield branch. I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK

“Loved this Hotel, Location was Beautiful, Delicious Food Nearby”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

Excellent staff, beautiful accommodations and comfy beds. Reasonably priced, considering there are few hotel options in that whole section of eastern Utah. Receptionist told us about Steve's Steakhouse nearby, a little gem in a tiny Motel 6 nearby--excellent food and service and caring chef (he even made sure my steak was to my liking before he left for the night).

“Great hotel off of I-70”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

We stayed here on our way to Canyonlands from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Great hotel with a good breakfast. It was clean and comfortable. We got to watch a wicked storm through the giant window in our room!
