After the night at this facility, I realized that I maybe should change my LQ allegiance. This was not a built from the ground LQ, it's a take over and redo of another property. LQ needs to stop take overs and stick to starting their facilities from scratch so they are the same. It was a dive, and I came out of there thinking that had I wanted to stay at a Motel 6, I would have found one.

With that said, I also want to address LQ's advertisement about comfy beds...this is not a consistent thing either regardless of facility. Some have pillow tops, most don't, and when one has any kind of affliction, poor beds make a big difference.

For the sake of consumers, LQ needs to get its act together and make facilities equal.

Average La Quinta. After staying more than 30 nights in La Quintas this year - this one is average. Nothing special but nothing negative either.

We stayed here one night to visit the BYU campus. Front desk and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was fine and clean. Beds were good. Bathroom was small but fine. Great hot breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs and sausage and then all of the other normal fare. Very good for the price. I would definitely recommend.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Better than average free breakfast. Good price even though we did not pre-book the room. An outdoor pool was still open even though the weather was chilly. This made my young son happy for his 5 minute swim. Safe location.
