I stayed here for one night. The web site defines the hotel as a "luxury" hotel/motel. This is far from it. My first impression of the hotel was the dirty and stained carpets in the hallway leading to my room. The halls were disgusting. Thankfully, the rooms were not as bad, but were certainly not great nor luxury. The bathrooms looks like they hadn't been updated since the hotel was built. For some reason, the sink and vanity were installed unusually low and I had to bend over to get my hands in the sink. The room likewise had not been updated in a while. It looks like they ripped out the original carpet and replaced it with hardwood floors, but that's about it. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were stained.
All in all, I will not return to this hotel. I prefer sleeping in my tent to experiencing this hotel again.

I would like to first express my sincere apologies that you felt mislead about the quality of our guest rooms. Being in a remote area, we try to accommodate a vast majority of clients such as those wanting luxury suites for a honeymoon or a local worker wanting a basic guestroom. The Greenwell Inn offers different room types; Luxury Suites, Mini Suites, and Guest Rooms. I can understand how our web site may cause some confusion that all of our rooms are defined as ‘luxury.’ Please know that this is something we are currently working with our web designer to help get adjusted.
Although you expressed stained carpets in our hallways, we currently do not have carpets in the facility hallways or guest rooms. We have found that eliminating carpet all together is more sanitary and appealing to most guests.
