I pulled off the I-15 in a horrendous rainstorm, looking for shelter from the storm and remembering researching this motel on Trip Advisor when it was a Comfort Inn. It was a good decision, as the price was reasonable and the room was good. Breakfast could have been better, as the only hot food other than waffles was biscuits and gravy, but the facility was nice. The building was not solid enough to blot the freeway noise, but it had a nice lobby and friendly front staff. I guess the smallish room and lack of elevator, and the fact it is getting nearly past its prime would be the reason for downgrading it from Comfort Inn to Quality Inn, but it is still in good shape and I would recommend it for a highway stopover. The bath tub looked clean, but it was a little disconcerting to see a used soap and shampoo left in it. There were no restaurants around except McDonald’s and Subway, but I was so exhausted that a Big Mac was all I wanted.
