We booked this room, because we decided in early January we are going to the Sundance Movie Festival for the first time. Everything in the downtown area of Park City was over $400.00. The website said they have a shuttle and easy bus to get you around town. We even called the hotel directly who assured us that their shuttle could take us and that the bus was easy to use and a great option. We learned when we got there that it was not true that the shuttle did not start until9am and you could not get it from the downtown area until after 4pm. the bus would take over an hour and was not easy walking. The only option we learned quickly was a taxi which was twenty dollars. On Monday we were told at 6:45am that we would have to take it immediately or wait two hours. On tuesday we were told there would be four hour wait for the cab. i called another cab myself and they would get me in 45 minutes. when i asked the person behind the desk why the difference he told me it was not his job to call me cabs. The Best Western increased the price of their hotel from an average of 130 up to 300 for sundance, should not they accomodate their guest. who are paying top dollar for their hotel. Breakfast was great especially the hot chocolate, the service desk people were unfriendly, did not seem to like people from out of town. When i asked for change one night for the cab, it once again was a huge inconvenience for the person to do for me. Its a shame because the hotel is very nice, rooms are great but unfriendly staff dampened my vacation.

My family of five adults stayed here over the Christmas break about a month ago and we had a wonderful time. We decided not to rent a car because of the price, and we really didn't need one. We used the shuttle service to go to dinner every night. If it's not a busy time of year, they will drop you off where you want to go, and they are always prompt. We never missed a shuttle, and the drivers are extremely friendly. Don't forget to tip them! When we wanted to go up the hill or somewhere else, we called a cab. The hotel itself is a basic hotel, nice lounge area with fireplace, jacuzzi & indoor pool, and a breakfast buffet (your basic eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, bagels, oatmeal). There are three different shuttle times in the morning that go to each of the three Park City mountains. We found this to be very convenient. Check lift times! Once we got there so early we had to wait a half hour at the bottom of the mountain until the lifts opened! Overall, this is a great value hotel. No real problems to report. Very convenient. I think the front desk staff could be a bit more helpful. We asked about things to do and they didn't really have a clue. But other than that, our trip was fabulous!

Poor customer service, disorganized, and inflexible. Shuttle drivers left before scheduled because they "felt like it" and the hotel refused to extend our stay despite our explanation of a later than expected flight due to a storm. Unable to get into promised "free" breakfast and on the morning we were, received terrible service. Room was INSANELY loud throughout the night; we were able to hear the people next to us have sex at three in the morning and showers turning on all around in the morning. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Our room had a hot tub in the corner and a large flat screen TV. All the benefits of the Anniversary Inn, but for 2/3 the price.
