“Clean your carpet!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 March 2010

Pros: Location, Location, Location. Also, a very well-equipped kitchen and nice leather furniture in living room. The MAJOR negative was the filthy carpet in all the rooms. I don't think it was replaced or cleaned since being installed. In addition, the Xmas decorations should've been stored. Please... it's late March. Floor of the master closet was filled with junk. Huge sofa in master also restricted movement. Management does not appear to be aware of the importance of DETAILS in prepping a place for rental.

“Not what I was hoping for or even close!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2009

We reserved the condo for a week and checked in on Sunday. When we decided to take a shower at 9 that evening. We were greeted with no towells, soap shampoo. We called and were told that we were number 9 on the list for problems so they would get to us when they could. At 11:45 they finally brought our towells. They were apologetic. But I should have taken that first problem as a warning for what was to come. Then the shower only had only scalding hot water. It was dirty with soap, bobby pins and a razor left by previous occupants. The light in the bathroom has a terrible short....fire danger??? We called the next day and they did come fix those problems. As it was a condo they said they would be by on Wednesday to clean. Nope! We rab out of toilet paper. They leave you with one half roll and thats it! The beds in our condo where the worst I have seen in any hotel/ moel/ condo. I'm certain Motel 6 has better beds. It wasn't until we were checking out that a realtor came to show the condo. That's when we realized that these are mostly rentals. No wonder the beds are bad, bad, bad! I could squeeze the top matress together with one hand . The TV volume could not be changed either to raise it or lower it. The carpets were terribly stained. We left a day early and had to pay for the whole week. But my poor back just couldn't take another night! On the plus side, we had a nice kitchen.

Each of our condos are individually owned and decorated per the owner's tastes. They are designed to provide all the comforts of home and to feel like a home away from home and not a standard hotel room. There has been an added emphasis for the small details to make sure that our guests have a positive experience.

“Pretty Good Experience overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2008

I haven’t written a review like this before, so bare with me. Let’s start with location, location, location. This was our first stay in Park Cities, and we found this to be a great location. As far as the condo itself, it was pretty nice with just a few problems. I’ll start with my complaints to get them out of the way. The spa tub in our unit was broke throughout our stay. The hot water ran at a trickle so it literally took 45 minutes to fill up the tub. Once the tub was filled, the jets didn’t work, so what was the point right. The showers in both bathrooms did work, so if was fine. Anyway, when we arrived, many of the light fixtures in the bedroom ceilings didn’t work due to burnt our light bulbs, and there were no bath towels or rags in the condo. After a call to the management company, (All Seasons) the towels were delivered and light bulbs installed after about 15 minutes. We were just surprised that we had to call. Seems like something that should have been prepared before we arrived. But oh well. Also, lots of closet space in each room, but no hangers were provided. What’s up with that? And finally, some of the fitted sheets didn’t fit, and were stained. Makes you wonder if they were washed before we arrived or ever. There was a washer and dryer in the condo. We used them. With all of that said, it was a large 3 bedroom condo with lots of space and a nice view. The garage was very handy. (Make sure you get the garage, there is very limited parking) Not as much furniture as we expected. One small couch, a chair and ottoman, two barstools, and a small table in the corner with three cheap chairs. Clearly, the owners of this particular condo provided the bare minimum. It didn’t quite lived up to the pictures on the web site, but was still ok. The heat worked well and the fireplace was nice. The icemaker in the fridge worked too. Even when it’s cold outside, I still like ice in my drink. Ok, moving on. It snowed every day while we were there. The snowplows worked all day and all night. (Plus and Minus) Plus - We were there for the snow and got a bunch of it. Great!!! Minus - The plows working through the night to keep the area clear, will wake you. Just FYI and it can’t be helped if you don’t want to be stuck in the condo. By the way I recommend a 4wd in the winter!!! This little condo community sits in a shopping center that is very nice. Lots of stores including grocery. The Redstone brewery had pretty good food too. The guys at the ski shop across the street from the brewery were very nice too. See them if you need to rent anything. Sorry, I don’t remember what the shop was called. The place also had a movie theater, which was pretty nice. All three ski resorts are pretty close too, the canyons being the closest. And a tubing place was pretty close too. We had a blast with our three year old there. That’s about it I guess. I know I focused on what I didn’t like more than what I liked. But I know what I’ve come to expect when staying at a condo on vacation. It’s always a crapshoot. Due to the location, and since the place didn’t ruin our vacation; I still give it good marks. The management company just needs to do its job a little better. I would stay there again, but would ask some questions I didn’t ask last time before checking in. A word to the wise. Good luck and happy vacationing!!!!!

“Great place to stay-close to everything!”

We stayed at a two bedroom condo at Fox Point in Jan '08. I find that the check in/check out was simple...the office is not in the same neighborhood but it's literally 5 min drive away.

The two bedroom units have newer furniture and a garage spot-which is great because you don't have to worry about shoveling snow off the car. Wild Oats grocery store is a 30 second drive down the block (it's like whole foods), and Walmart is a 5 min drive. There's a flat screen tv and a fire place in the living room-very cozy. The master had a king bed; and 2nd br had a queen and bunk beds. Really no complains at all... it's about 10-15 min drive from the ski resorts/Main street but still convenient.

I would recommend staying there and I would stay there again next time!

“Check-in can be difficult”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2008

The most important thing to mention right away is that the check-in location and where you actually stay are two totally different places. Secondly, the map they give you has incorrect street names on it. Apparently, when the new shopping center went in, they didn't update the map. This is very trying when you are driving in the dark of night looking for a street that no longer exists. Once you get over these two hurdles, everything else is fine.

I don't know if it was the combination of finally finding our condo and being exhausted to the point where we couldn't move, but it couldn't have been more fantastic. It was clean, comfortable and perfectly suited for our needs. We rented a two bedroom and it was a good sized place. You can walk to the shopping center to get groceries and necessities to use during your stay. I would definitely stay here again now knowing the two steps they originally missed and don't inform you of well.

  • Liked — The location to the slopes.
  • Disliked — The check-in location.
