“Great Time!! Great Place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

My husband and I love attending the Sundance Film Festival, as well as the the fun Slam Dance Film Festival and a chance to ski at Park City. In fact, its probably our favorite vacation spot. We usually stay at the mountain resort for the easy ski in-ski out access. However this year, we decided to be closer to the action on Main Street, with the great restaurants and shopping, the beautiful Egyptian Theater and access to the shuttle station for all the theaters. We always loved the charm of the Treasure Mountain Inn but wondered if it would be noisy since it located on Main Street and is host to Slam Dance.

So this year we stayed at TMI and absolutely loved it!! Our room was on the top floor of the main building facing the courtyard. It was beautiful, comfortable and super quiet. In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location makes it perfect for all the activities in town and a very easy walk to the opposite end of Main Street to the Town Lift which goes straight to the top of the mountain for an easy ski down.

We are happy to find the perfect lodging every time we go to Park City. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. And thanks to the hard-working staff for making our vacation so enjoyable.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the 3rd floor of the main building facing the courtyard.

“Treasure at the Top of Main Street”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We have stayed at the Treasure Mountain Inn dozens of times during the last decade, in a variety of accommodations. The owners, Thea and Andy, run a very tight but charming ship, their staff are wonderful, and they all bend over backwards to be helpful. Plus they were pioneers in being "Green" The location at the top of Main Street is unbeatable, with a dozen great restaurants, the town lift and transit center within a short walk. My only hope is that there will soon be a new restaurant in the recently renovated space on the main floor.

Room Tip: The web site has pictures of all the rooms... We've stayed in most of them and never been disapp...

“Good location but poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I recently stayed at this hotel for the Sundance Film Festival. Although the location is great, I wouldn't rate it as one of the better hotels in Park City. The staff seemed indifferent and anytime you asked for something, it was more of a bother, nuisance than generally wanting to help. The rooms were ok but not as spacious and nice as the photos suggest. Have stayed in nicer rooms throughout Park City like Prospector Square. The amenities are also few. For the money, its ok but not a deal and probably would not choose to stay there again.

“Walking on Eggshells”

My wife and I stayed here for our ski vacation and the property was very nice and the skiing at Park City was awesome! We loved our room and the location, however I would not stay here again. The staff makes you feel very strange and unwelcome as soon as you get there. If you've ever seen the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld, that's what the staff is like. We were laughing because at check-in the girl was miserable and barely spoke. When she finally said something it was to let us know the different things that would get us kicked out. We travel quite a bit and have never been greeted like this but we just laughed it off. Even though we were on our BEST behavior (LOL), we couldn't shake the feeling that some hostile granola mountain weirdo was going to kick us out and steal our money.

They should chill out and be happy they have such a nice property in a great location. Treating people decently is a lot more fun than being pretentious and weird.

We regret you felt as if you were walking on eggshells. The reason for reiterating the policies is just to "head things off at the pass" as we say in the west. I normally encourage my staff to deliver these with some humor, rather than as an accusation. She may have been having an off day. I hope your contact with "granola weirdos" was limited while in Park City, because they exist in all corners of this hippie western town, not just here at the Inn. Thanks for your feedback and your advice to enjoy our nice property. That's usually how we roll.

“Gorgeous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

I stayed here a little while ago and loved it! It was beautiful and had great restaurants in it and around it but the only bad thing was that it was far away from the ski lift. This was the farthest hotel from the lifts and you had to walk up a hill to get here. It wasn't a big deal, since it was just up the road but it was annoying. Overall, it was great!
