“Nice hotel a short drive from Main St.”

There are a few Marriotts in Park City, and this one is a bit away from the main drag, but the free shuttle service makes getting around a breeze. We parked our car in the free underground lot, and didn't have to move it until we left town.
The pool and hot tub are nice, although the hot tub is a little small for the après ski rush.
The breakfast was very fresh and tasty, and the generous buffet is a good value.

Thank you for your positive words on our breakfast buffet and complimentary ski shuttle...we think it is the little extras that can really make a stay great! We hope to see you back at Park City Marriott soon.

“Hotel acted as great base for skiing at Deer Valley”

My buddy and I stayed here to gain easy access to Deer Valley skiing and restaurants in downtown Park City. The room with two queen beds was pretty comfortable and had two sinks. The hotel was a 10 minute drive to Deer Valley and only five minutes to downtown Park City. There was a hotel shuttle that would take you to either destination also. Both the pool and hot tub were indoors so they went unused by us. We managed to find a parking spot in front of the hotel every night 29 Jan - 2 Feb. As the hotel refilled after the Sundance crew exited, we could hear noise above us but it wasn't enough to stop us from sleeping after long days of skiing. Starbucks counter in lobby was pretty nice for a jump start.

Room Tip: We asked for a room away from elevator and ice machine - good thing we did as they were noisy when w...

“Spacious Room. Convenient location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Upon check-in I was pleased with the friendly staff. Very knowledgeable about the area, bus schedules, where to go etc. Although it was the HQ for Sundance, I had no issues with noise, crowds, or any other inconveniences. I have stayed previously and will still again.

“Beyond Convenient for the Sundance Film Festival”

Typical Marriott experience. Nice room, all of the amenities you would expect. Should of asked for a quite room. I heard the person above me on the 3rd floor walking around, and I was in a room overlooking the pool and spa, which was loud at times. Would stay here again but would request a quite room, away from the pool. The concierge level takes up the entire top floor, the 4th floor. Although expensive, I would consider that during my next stay.

“Comfortable yet tired, a great location for Sundance attendees”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed at the Marriott Park City during the second week of Sundance. Needless to say, it was a really busy, crowded time. The hotel serves as the HQ for Sundance, so many rooms are utilized for business purposes.

Overall, expectations were set on the lower end and I think that was important in coming away from a 4 night stay with a 3 star rating given here. As a gold member, there were no upgradeable rooms available, which was understandable given the festival. We were on the 3rd floor of this 4 floor hotel and still given access to the Concierge Lounge (on the 4th). Location was central for our festival purposes, right on multiple shuttle stop lines, and walkable to several theaters.

PROS
- Concierge Lounge (that they have one, not necessarily the quality of the lounge)
- Location for Sundance film goers
- Friendly staff
- Indoor/Atrium-based pool
- Hotel restaurant food (though it does have a limited menu)

CONS
- Tiny, outdated fitness center
- Lounge breakfast ends at 9am
- Lack of eating options after 10pm
- Not a good value during Sundance at $410/night (but potentially better outside of peak dates)

In summary, would prefer to stay at a more upscale hotel option for the prices we stayed at, but with the right expectations, this hotel will meet all of your functional lodging needs.

Room Tip: The top floor (4th floor) is the concierge floor.
