this hotel is greatly located at the base of park city ski area and within less than 8 minutes drive from the canyons and/or deer valley ski mountains, easy access, complimentary indoor parking. accomodation is spacious, clean, comfortable, well appointed and well maintained. staff very helpful and pleasant, specially Gary the hotel manager has been of great help and assistance. truly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub. hotel also offer 20% discount vouchers at ski rental shops which is a great added value. I can only highly recommend to anyone wanting to come to Park City, Utah, for a wonderful ski break!!

My husband and I stayed at Silver King at the end of January 2012. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. We were very pleased with our room - 319. We decided to upgrade to a one bedroom spa and I am glad we did. The room was beautifully updated with modern furnishings and appliances. (There is even a front load washer and dryer!!) A view of the slopes while sitting by a warm fire was a bonus. (Did I mention my husband loved sitting in the hot tub while watching the flat screen TV after a long day of skiing!)
The location could not be better. The lift is a short walk away. I was a little concerned with the ski conditions since Park City has not had that much snow. The ski conditions were excellent!! Park City Mountain Resort has done a tremendous job maintaining ski conditions.
We would stay at Silver King again and definitely request #319 again!

A weekend in Sundance festival time away with our son, daughter-in-law and two gorgeous granddaughters, ages 2 and 3 could only be wonderful - and it was, The Silver King suite (No.420) had a lovely view of the ski slopes and were a short walk across the parking lot to get to the chairs and magic carpet for the kids. Our suite was spacious and worked perfectly for the six of us. As grandparents we had privacy, but the kids had lots of "play room" as well. The activities of Park City were exceptional - skiiing, skating (a charming rink nearby), beautiful views of the golf course/Nordic ski trails - and we never even made it to the films of Sundance festival! We had one small challenge - the house keepers were struggling with the English language and did not understand the problem we had with a smoke filled room the first night - the maintenance engineer arrived the next morning upon our request and we attributed our problem to "user error" (there were three thermostats, not one - so we overworked the one and burned out a motor). The housekeeping team also did not clean the air vents which were thick with soot. But they were most helpful when we made requests that were specific and clear, and when we were ill with flu, they gave us needed cleaning materials immediately.

The building itself is designed in a clever and practical way. The pool is lovely and fun [indoor/outdoor]. The receptionists were kind, lovely, and to be honest, rather clueless. They never seemed to understand what we are asking for. But the overall experience was wonderful, and we would return in a heartbeat. HLT

We had 4 nights in rm 205 and it was clean with all the modern amenities needed with nice decor. It is very close to the slopes and only a 2 minute walk from the back sliding door. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again
