I came here for a work meeting. The entire team had an enjoyable time. The staff was friendly courteous and the rooms were clean.
I was upgraded to a suite with one of my colleagues and was amazed by the spacious bedrooms and huge bathrooms! The eating area was perfect for our team to gather and enjoy dinner and drinks in the evening. The outdoor pool area make this an excellent location for a family retreat as well. I look forward to returning with my kids one day soon.

What an amazing experience! My girlfriends and I were looking for a nice and relaxing overnight stay. We were welcomed with open arms at the Silver Baron Lodge in Deer Valley. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the front desk with warm smiles and a courteous staff. We felt very "at home". Our room was amazing! We had a 3 bedroom 4 bath condo. The balcony had a hottub for our own private use with a spectacular view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the atmosphere perfect for a relaxing Girls Night Out. The shuttle driver was prompt and courteous. Overall, we couldn't of asked for a better night out. We will be returning for a Winter Girl's Night Out!!!

Room tip: If you have the funds, splurge on the condos. A west facing balcony gives you a great view of the sun setting and the stars at night.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Silver Baron Lodge. It is a really nice place and everyone we encountered there was very helpful. We had a one bedroom unit with a sleeper sofa with 2 full bathrooms. It was extremely clean and really updated. The king bed was very comfortable. There is a complimentary continental breakfast which was perfect with all kinds of fresh breads, cheeses, cereals and a waffle maker. The shuttle to the mountain was very quick and they provide a complimentary car to drive you into Park city. Also, they do kids activities over at The Lodges next door in the afternoon like cookie decorating and crafts. The pool and hottubs are really nice as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Our visit to Silver Baron started on March 12 and the plan was to stay four nights. The location is great, the shuttle prompt, the rooms spacious and clean, the pillows wonderfully soft . . . all things you would expect from a premium resort location this close to a premium snow park like Deer Valley. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful! We were offered our room right away, and a ride to the snow park. The groundskeepers personally showed us how to operate the garage door opener and the gas grill. The concierge printed up our lift tickets on the spot. Being sausage and egg people for breakfast, the complimentary breakfast was light (mostly fruit, pastries, and boiled eggs), but the dining room was full so most people were quite happy.
Vacations are supposed to go right, and usually do, and most prestige resorts can deliver under ideal circumstances. Sometimes, though, things go wrong on vacation . . .like a stomach bug hitting the whole family. THAT is when a GREAT staff shows what they are truly made of, and THAT is why I am writing this review. I have NEVER had such caring attention from a hotel staff as my family received from the staff at the Silver Baron! There was no way we were getting on that airplane on departure day, and Mary Ann, the general manager, got on the phone and rebooked our Delta tickets. She found us another wonderful condo at Silver Baron we could use to ride this out, got a refund on my prepaid lift tickets, got a refund on our unused ski rental fees, sent staff to get skis out of storage and turn them back in to rental, and even went out to get chicken soup and Gatorade for the bedbound. That kind of help buys loyalty. We ski exclusively at Deer Valley, and I will be staying exclusively at Silver Baron in the future.

We stayed in Feb for 5 nights with 4 teenaged boys. Great location to Deer Valley Snow Park lifts. We arrived after 10pm and had to go next door to The Lodges to check in. We expected a little more assistance with directions to condo and help with luggage. We asked if a cart was available in the parking garage and only then did we get offers of some help. There are several building and it was late and we had no idea of where we were going so a bellman to help was neccesary. Condo was comfortable and spacious for us. The breakfast buffet was very simple - continental type breakfast with waffle machine - and we ended up buying groceries as the teenage boys wanted something more substantial (eggs and bacon) for breakfast. The apres ski was hot chocolate and a tray of cookies in the lobby. The concierge was friendly but not overly helpful - in fact when I asked about getting lift tickets for the next day at 6:45pm she told me to come back in the am as she had closed out her system. Service was not quite what I expected considering that this is Deer Valley. We had a great vacation and enjoyed ourselves. Great location for skiing and you can't beat Deer Valley for service. We would return to Silver Baron again with appropriate expectations.
