This trip all started by getting away from the HEAT of Las Vegas. Panguitch is a small town and you can walk from one side to the other end of town, which was really neat. A calm and peaceful place to stay and wonderful senery. The appeal to the out side of the motel is very clean and upkeeped. Rooms inside is very clean and big, have lots of room to move around and it has a table and chairs with a full set of coffee dinning. Every thing you need is suppled in the rooms from clean white towels and soap and internet with local cable tv. We really enjoyed the patio area with a BBQ grill which we used and had lots of fun. With the sun set in the horison it was a wonderful senery. I would recommend this place to anyone who really wants to enjoy a calm and relaxing place to stay.

This place was so old and the bed linens were gross. The walls are cinder block. The air conditioner was old and could not keep up. They filled in the pool and offered to let my kids play in the hose. All that for more than 80 dollars per night!!! We actually left after we had paid for the room and they refused to give even a partial refund. We found a much better hotel selection closer to the Canyon.

We had to call this hotel, we could not book online,at least they did not lose the reservation! We stayed 3 days in the beginning of Sept 2008. The hotel was VERY basic. The owners did not want the air conditioner left on in the room if no one was there, even though the place was hot and stuffy. The towels were so bald, you could see thru them. The bathroom window opened into a garage so anyone in the garage could look in. One of 2 chairs was broken and all the furniture was so old that Goodwill would probably not take it! The coffee package for the inroom coffee had been opened before we entered the room at checkin. The day after we checked in I discovered the owner had not left any coffee or filters for the next morning, I had to ask and wait. The second day there were no stryofoam coffee cups, just the ones left from the day before. We were the only people staying at this hotel at the time and there must have been a reason!

Even if we had a good welcome by the staff, we cannot suggest this hotel, because it is really old and quite dirty.
I think the furniture dates back to the 70s, everything, from tv to blankets.....
Bathroom was not clean at all....
Sorry, man at reception was really friendly, but all the rest needs to be changed.
