We stayed just one night. Wouldn't have stayed any longer. This was rated 3 diamonds in the AAA. Photos looked really nice, but the photos are not really what they should be. The room was a very basic room for a 3 star, should be more like a 2 or 1 star. Very comparable to a Motel 6. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, however he was the only one there at a very busy check in time around 5 p.m. He did his best and did recongize how long it was taking. (he said he had only been working there for 5 days) The room appeared clean overall but when we took the bedspread down it was full of stains and just gross. The sheets were old as worn. The bed was pretty good considering. The air didnt work well. The room had poor patch job on the walls. No remote control for the tv. The front desk gave us a remote but it didnt work. The micorwave was old and yucky. Oh there is a VCR in the room just in case you want to watch a movie, that can be rented for around $4 bucks. The pool was broken and on a hot July night it would have been nice to take a dip. This MOTEL is next door to the truck stop and the whole back area is full of truckers spending the night. If you do stay here don't get a room in the back. Just really creepy with guys wandering around, not to say the trucks going in and out all night long. There is also a saloon and dance hall in the same parking lot. So come the weekend you will have a lot of traffic according to the desk clerk. There is Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites across the street. Try them first.
