This old hotel has been completely renovated and is really fabulous. The hotel has its character and flair, but is so modern and comfortable... and for the rate? Definitely worth it!
The lobby is stylish and cozy, and the rooms are enormous. My room had the biggest bathroom I've ever had in a hotel! They kept the old window (where the glass runs and the old wooden frames scream "HISTORY HERE!"), but added additional panes to the inside for comfort and efficiency. The room decor was stylish and modern, but integrated beautifully with the historic building.
The hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants, a mall, performing arts centers and fun, funky shops. As a former "Ogdenite" who hadn't stayed in Ogden since graduating from college 20 years ago, I was totally impressed with the changes to this city. The city is full of interesting things to see and do. I'll be back to this hotel in this city!
The only downfall was the traffic noise from 24th Street. It sounded like someone was loading up a roll off at 4am with the crashing, crunching and back up warning noise. But other than that- perfection!

Thank you for your wonderful comments. Twenty years ago, as you will remember this building was in the process of renovation along with the building of the Conference Center next door. We are fortunate that the elegance and style of the original building was kept in place. Our hotel is, indeed, a showplace that native Ogdenites, like you, can be proud of. Yes, many great and progressive changes have occurred in Ogden. And more, are still to come. Keep coming back, staying with us and observing the growth into the future. We love having you here!
