Stayed here in July '06 while on a cross country trip from New York to Seattle. I was in college at the time and on a budget which meant I wanted to do the trip as quickly as possible (4 days) and was looking to stay at the cheapest places around. My first impressions of the motel when I walked into the lobby was that it was a little dirty. The lobby was small, the vending machine was out of order and it may not have been air conditioned. The room itself was clean though, large and definitely to my liking. The motel is in a semi-residential area. The homes looked a little run down and I was a little worried about my car since I was traveling with a lot of possessions. Washington Blvd, is a well-travelled thoroughfare with lots of places to eat nearby. I got some pizza hut, kicked back in the room, watched Carl Edwards win the Busch race at Gateway on TV, and had a good night's rest. This motel served its purpose well for me. It was a cheap, comfortable place to stay overnight while traveling in a part of the country I had never been to before.
