The hard bed and noise from the freeway and railroad would have been merely annoying had it not been for the theft! A wallet containing several hundred dollars in cash was accidentally knocked into a trash can next to the dresser. We had checked out before we realized it was missing. When we called the hotel about it, we identified the wallet and the exact amount of cash it contained. We were told the wallet was there but contained $100 less than it should have. When we arrived to pick it up, we complained to the management about the missing money. We were told that the housekeeper who cleaned our room had worked there a long time and was "very honest" and that we would simply "have to trust" the hotel that none of its staff had taken our money. I called the local sheriff's office, which sent out an officer immediately. Apparently, according to the officer, there have been problems before. Because there wasn't enough evidence to allow further investigation, the officer could only file a report. He told us, however, that he was certain the managers and housekeeper were lying to him. Because of these people's dishonesty and theft, our trip budget was short and our time was wasted trying to get our money back. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Check in was easy. Rooms were good size, beds were hard and really wiggly when people moved. Train was loud in the middle of the night. Freeway traffic finally drowns out once your tired enough. Decent breakfast, just a warning, no fruit, no yogurt, no protein. It is all carbs other than the milk and coffee. Location was good, right off the freeway so needing a hotel at midnight this one is a good deal. Same price as the Motel 6 down the block and at least a star higher from what we could tell. Would stay here again if we needed a motel on a road trip to Vegas.

The bed was like sleeping on a board, the room was clean, for the price if you like a firm bed this place may work for you.

55 dollars for a queen is not too bad. Room was clean, location convenient next to highway, and there is even a view of the mountains.

Downsides:
- SERIOUSLY slow internet. It was unusable for my entire stay.
- There does not seem to be anything in this town worth checking out.

Tip: check out the motel 9 (or something?) across the street. It has better rates, and on the outside does not look very bad.
