My husband and I were on a cross-country motorcycle tour in May 2010, and decided to see Zion and Bryce Canyon. As it was the end of the day, we looked askance at this motel; it looked a bit seedy from the outside. HOWEVER, the price was right, so we decided to chance it. The room belied the outside by a hundred-fold! Very clean, big, comfortable bed and the nicest staff ever. One of the best places we stayed!

We had reserved per telephone in the afternoon and room with 2 beds as we were travelling with our 2 daughters. We discovered that we were give a parental suite (without paying anything extra) with a large double sink bath. Everything was pleasant and very clean. We also appreciated that the corridor was also nicely decorated.

Owner was very helpful with our purchasing of stones (good value when compared to what we found later on) in the little shop. We had dinner twice in the restaurant because we just loved it the first time so we came back on our return trip. The whole family was just extremely pleasant and nice.

I read a few of the negative reviews here and I was astonished what some people had to say...: it seems that it is not the same place they are talking about... !

Just pass it by. We checked in for 2 nights stayed 1 hour and checked out. I should have known it would be nasty since there are very few reviews. Well, that is because no one stays there. My husband who never has allergies, actually suggested we move on. Something was definitely bothering him. Travel the 17 miles to Kanab or pay the higher prices in Springdale.

What a horror, this was our last stop from our road trip before heading home. First, no one at the reception (if you can call it that), so we walk to their restaurant, there we found two teen kids running the place and one of then about 16 years old went back and completed the check-in, as soon as we open the door, we almost died. The furniture is from the 60’s, carpet was soooo dirty, pubic hair all over the bathroom floor, tub was disgusting, and holes all over the walls. We went back to the “reception” and waited forever until this old creepy man came to help us, we asked for our money back, which he did refund back to our credit card. This place is not even for the cheapest budget.
