“Icky”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2010

The second we walked into the room it smelled just awful! It smelled like someone had been cooking in there for months. The carpet was filthy with large spots all over it. A football team was spending the night, too, and the noise from up above us kept us up until well after midnight. Poor insulation between rooms! Because there is no one at the front desk after 11 PM there is no recourse for problems. We paid $92.96 including tax and the only reason they can get that price is because of their proximity to Moab and Arches N.P. We will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again!

“What a dump - Triple A rated??? Really??”

Smelly room, incessant buzzing all night long. Dirty bathroom. Stains on the bedspread. We stayed because it was in the Triple A book. Not worth the money.

“Keep on driving”

Seriously, Does the state agencies ever inspect this establishment? The stairway's are filthy. One exit door boarded up-with a sign to not use. We had NO smoke detector in our room-just wires hanging down. A really big no no was a tub of butter and a jelly jar for hotel guests to share. The pastries were ice cold and the waffle iron had not been cleaned in ages. If I were an inspector, this place would surely fail in safety and health violations. Sure there were other places to stay, but this being a Choice Hotel- we were really sorry we made this Choice!

“Do NOT waste your time here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2010

We went since the rate was decent and it got a few fair ratings; afterall, it was Memorial Day weekend; and we couldn't find anything else in the area, on the spur of the moment...the lobby was adequate; the clerk barely spoke English, but had our reservation, so 4/5 stars there...then downhill...the halls and stairs were like pigstys; stains from tens of years ago, for sure; the walls as well...I should have turned around but knew there was nothing else for 100+ miles...so we stayed; The room was only slightly cleaner; although, the sheets didn't look bad at all. The am continental breakfast was pitiful and I honestly didn't expect much after the cleanliness issue, coffee totally cold in the pump dispenser; cold cereal but no milk; had to ask for it...etc..Get the drift? Drive on further and don't bother to stay here for sure.....

“adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 May 2010

This doesn't look great from the outside, but it is adequate inside. It is clean and quiet. The rooms are large enough to have a micro and fridge with a small table and chairs and still room to move around. Our biggest complaint revolves around the complimentary breakfast. Waffles, donuts, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs are fine. The butter is a shared big tub, and is the syrup, which just asks for germs to be shared. Tables are not cleaned unless the guests clean them themselves either after finishing breakfast or before you sit down from the last guest. Such small changes could improve this motel.
