My husband and I celebrated our twentieth anniversary in May 2003. We decided to have dinner at the Blue Boar on a whim, and we are so glad that we did. The restaurant staff were very attentive, the table was decorated for our personal occasion, and the cuisine was fabulous. We had the lamb chops. So delicious and they melt in your mouth. The chef was equally superior with all the dishes we had.
The sparkling pear cider was delicious, and served in champagne glasses. Everything about our dinner was perfect, right down to the fireplace crackling away, and the lights all around the restaurant glimmering, making it feel so special.
We will definitely go back next year and probably make it an anniversary tradition.
