“Never staying here again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

This hotel did not have:

- Working toilets. The toilet in room 104 had a defective flusher and was clogged when we got there. We went to the hotel desk and told them this, and usually when people do that hotels send maintenance over to fix stuff. But the lady at the desk didn't say anything, she just handed us a plunger.
- Room cleaning. We stayed at this hotel for four nights (a mistake) and not once did they come to clean our room.
- Decent covers. The blankets were very thin, which isn't great in the winter, but the room did have a heater, so that counts for something.
- Good internet. Even when we paid for internet it was slow as balls.
- Shampoo.
- Breakfast.

However, it did come with a toaster, silverware, and one bar of soap.

All in all, not worth it for $73/night.

“Not unless you really have to.”

We stayed here for two nights as we had bid on the Name Your Own Price / Pricleine website. The first and only time that I have been ever disappointed by the outcome of this. This is not a 2 star hotel!

It was better than I had expected after reading other reviews and it is in a good location. Check in was efficent and the AC worked.

The room was a reasonable size and clean... apart from the permanent stains (many) on the carpet and armchair/footstool. The hallways are very worn. When checking in we noticed that at least one young person was checked in by a social/care worker and we believe that it is highly likley that the facility is used to house some people with 'social' needs. There was also one significant incident resulting a 911 call for all emergency services when a young woman threatened harm to herself.

Fortunately, we were out and about for much of the time. ihop (very firendly and helpful staff) is next door and there are restaurants and stores in a complex oppoosite this hotel. There is no restaurant / breakfast facility.

Will give this hotel a miss in the future... A wide miss!

“It was cheap but wouldn't stay again by choice”

We got this hotel on short notice through a bidding website, otherwise we would have stayed some place nicer. The hotel was probably nice when it was new but now shows plenty of wear and feels almost like a dorm or apartment complex. The halls smell funky, there are stains on the carpet, and half the windows don't have screens. The location is strange as well, we passed it twice before we spotted it sunk down off the road next to a vacant overgrown lot. On the plus side there is a newer shopping complex across the street with nice restraunts. On the down side its run down and dirty feeling and theres no ammenities (no breakfast, pool, or fitness center). Oh! and the beds were uncomfortable.

“A cruel Priceline prank..."2 stars". Yea..right!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2011

I am a veteran of the road and tend to give places a break when I can. When the management of a facility really tries to do it right, even if the odds are against them, I cut them slack. This is not one of those times.

The place stinks and is horribly under-maintained. The carpets, both in the hallways and in the rooms, reek of rotted spills and other filth. There appears to be no systematic vacuuming of the hallways or common areas and there's small debris everywhere. It's a slummy place that defies the upper middle class area where it's situated.

Early on, I liked these extended-stay places. Because the rooms get so little attention, and the staffing so lean, the little stuff gets ignored. Dirt and grime accumulate with the longer stays and housekeeping can't keep up. I wish Priceline would allow me to opt out of these places. Unless you get smacked by Priceline or Hotwire, don't stay here.

Oh...as previously stated, the beds are rock hard. I was able to sleep okay, but many people wouldn't be able to. The AC unit is very loud, adding to the challenge of getting a good sleep.

Room Tip: If you have to stay, get an east facing room.

“Beds are horrible”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2010

They need to replace beds if they expect people to come back. The place looks nice on the outside and inside halls were acceptable but the bed was really really bad. They could of put more things in the kitchen, like make sure there were eough spoons for 2 people, etc. Staff was very helpful. I'ts nice that they have laundry facitities open 24 hrs. If you plan to check out early in the morning, staff does not come on until 7 so make arrangements the night before. This could be a nice hotel chain but they need to do some improving..would not recommend anyone stay there until corporate changes it's beds. don't yell at the staff..that's not their fault..
