“Spectacular!”

What a unique B&B in a breathtaking location. We loved it! Claire and Gary are marvelous hosts and their special corner of the world is truly special. If you arrive as we did via the Moki Dugway you will be in for a thrill. Nothing beats seeing the B&B in the valley below as you descend this road. Be brave and enjoy this experience. (You don't have to arrive this way!) At the B&B you might be able to eat on the veranda but be sure to bring your own "supper" since you are in a remote area. We brought quiche which Claire graciously offered to warm in her vintage gas oven. Then, there were the stars at night which seemed near enough to touch! Breakfast was delicious and we were ready to drive through the Valley of the Gods...a must. Don't miss this special place!!

“Amazing, Inspirational Property!”

We stayed at the Valley of the Gods for one night while driving through area. This place is totally unique in that the owners are able to operate a wonderful B&B with 4 rooms, and yet be in the middle of nowhere, and be off the grid as far as the utilities go. Claire and Gary are excellent hosts. They are very willing to answer every question about how they use their solar and wind power to run the place. (It inspires you to start thinking about setting up solar or wind for your own home!) The rooms are quite comfortable and on a par with luxury rated properties we have stayed at. You will meet travellers from all over the world when staying here. If you are ever in this area, this is definitely the place to stay!

“Awesome place to stay in a very remote area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011 via mobile

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Valley of the Gods. We were very lucky to get a last minute
Room due to a cancellation. This is a very unusual place to stay. It is in a very remote part of SW Utah. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous.
The owners have done an amazing job remodeling the building. We stayed in an independent cottage that was cozy. ( the bedroom was down a spiral staircase). The breakfast was lovely as wreathe other guests. Oh, they have created an energy efficient place)
